Commercial Cost Administrator / Junior Financial Analyst (Contract)

Contract: Initial 3 months, likely to extend to 6 months
Salary: £17 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week (8:00am–4:00pm – some flexibility)
The Role
Severn Trent is looking for a Commercial Cost Administrator / Junior Financial Analyst to support a busy commercial team during a period of system change and increased workload. This is a hands-on role focused on reporting, data processing, and commercial administration, ideal for someone early in their finance or commercial career who is confident working with data and systems.
You will play a key role in supporting cost management activities, ensuring accurate reporting and helping the team manage day-to-day commercial and financial data.
Key Responsibilities
* Run and maintain reports using SAP
* Process commercial data in line with SOPs and upload information to Asite
* Produce and compile Asite reports
* Support cost tracking and basic financial analysis
* Assist with the transition to new cost management systems
* Manage shared mailboxes and respond to routine commercial queries
* Maintain data using Excel and SharePoint
* Provide general admin and reporting support to the commercial team
