The role sits within the Data & Analytics division, supporting operational, analytical, and reporting needs to improve outcomes for citizens and enhance data quality and security.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business analysis activities for complex service improvements, translating business and user needs into actionable outcomes.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to align project priorities with strategic goals.
* Collaborate with user‑centred design teams to identify process improvements and manage risks.
* Communicate key findings to technical and business teams to ensure shared understanding.
* Take on leadership responsibilities, support capability building and recruitment efforts within the Business Analyst community.
* Embed within portfolio teams to deliver infrastructure and tools enabling data professionals to build, test, and deploy analytics solutions.
Qualifications
* Senior Business Analyst experience with a proven track record in complex service improvements.
* Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience leading workshops, conducting interviews, and fostering collaboration across cross‑functional teams.

Competitive pay of up to £68,205. Civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
