Radar systems for fighter jets require Systems Engineers to plan and deliver Radar Trials & Analysis activity in support of product development. The Captor-E Mk0 Radar is produced for the Eurofighter Typhoon and is in operation with multiple export customers. The project is progressing with ongoing systems and software design upgrades to meet end-user needs in challenging environments. A Systems Engineer is sought to work on Radar Trials Analysis (Ground Rig and Flight Trials) within the Mk0 Systems Engineering Team, supporting planning of radar trials, analysis and characterization of trials data, and developing design solutions to address system problem reports and capability gaps. The role also involves broader involvement in radar operation and processing and support for other Systems Engineering activities within the Captor-E Mk0 team. There will be opportunities to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including hardware and software teams, test teams, international partner organisations and customer stakeholders.
Successful applicants will have prior experience in a similar industry and some level of experience supporting engineering tests / trials and processing large datasets.
