We're seeking a dynamic Director of AI Cyber Security to operate as an entrepreneur, bringing a startup mentality to drive fast-paced growth. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy for AI-based Cyber Security solutions. You will be accountable for shaping and executing the go-to-market approach, building strategic relationships, and delivering impactful solutions, while expanding our high-performing cyber security team.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop and lead the commercial strategy for AI Cyber Security to drive sustainable growth.
2. Identify and shape new market opportunities, leveraging insights and trends to position the organisation as a leader in AI Cyber Security.
3. Own the sales pipeline and client relationships, driving business development efforts and securing new revenue streams.
4. Oversee the delivery of AI Cyber Security solutions, ensuring high-quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
5. Foster innovation and collaboration across teams, working closely with technical, delivery, and leadership stakeholders to evolve and scale the offering.
6. Develop strong partnerships as a source of new business opportunities.
7. Collaborate with existing business development and account teams to sell AI Cyber Security services and ensure successful promotion and positioning.
8. Promote Kainos externally as an AI Cyber Security leader through campaigns and events.
9. Act as an ambassador for Kainos, promoting our culture, values, and behaviors.
Minimum requirements:
1. Experience developing new commercial offerings from idea to >£1m revenue, with a proven track record of meeting targets in a startup environment.
2. Deep knowledge of the sales process and deal making, including constructing complex commercial offers.
3. Customer success focus with a consultative selling approach, helping clients realize value from technology.
4. Strong influencing skills to lead sales, account, and technical teams toward cybersecurity outcomes.
5. Understanding of AI Cyber Security trends and their impact on projects.
6. Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland for customer meetings and office visits.
Desirable:
1. Experience in both commercial and public sectors.
2. Deep expertise in AI Cyber Security.
