Maintenance Technician 35-40k County Down Working with a successful local business who operates from a 60,000 sqft factory in County Down, Northern Ireland, and has been producing catering ingredients in the UK and Ireland for over 35 years. The Maintenance Technician supports planned maintenance activities to ensure the upkeep of buildings, landscapes, factory and offices in line with the operational activities of the business. The primary focus is on ensuring the maximum up time on machinery whilst ensuring the machinery runs consistently to the highest tolerances and minimum waste. Essential To have completed an approved apprenticeship with the relevant Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical Qualification or an engineering qualification. At least five years post apprenticeship experience in a mechanical and/or electrical hands-on maintenance and/or engineering role - Experience in problem-solving and rectification on a variety of equipment/machinery Experience and understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Experience of fault-finding using wiring diagrams Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment Desirable Manual Handling Forklift License Chemical Handling H&S Qualification If interested in hearing any more details call on and ask for Morrie Skills: Electrical Fault finding Planned Maintenance Breakdowns
