As part of our leadership team, you will lead the implementation and development of these services across Hampshire. You will oversee a team delivering harm reduction interventions, including BBV testing, naloxone distribution, needle and syringe provision, overdose prevention, and engagement with pharmacy partners. You will also coordinate peer mentoring alongside specialist housing and rough sleeping support, ensuring people experiencing homelessness or housing instability receive timely, coordinated and effective help. A key element of the role is building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with Local Authority Housing teams, Adult Social Care, housing providers, homeless services and other partner agencies to support seamless pathways of care. This role is suited to an experienced manager or leader with a strong track record in developing new services and a solid understanding of homelessness, housing, substance use and harm reduction. This job requires you to: • Work as part of the Inclusion Hampshire Senior Leadership Team to ensure service outcomes are met across harm reduction, housing support and rough sleeping services, providing strategic direction, oversight and coordination across these specialist areas. • Lead and support services development and delivering person‑centred harm reduction interventions, housing support and peer mentoring, ensuring safe, inclusive and evidence‑based practice. • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager, other Service Leads and Team Leaders to maintain effective service delivery, operational consistency and high‑quality support pathways for individuals experiencing substance use, homelessness or housing instability. • Guide and support your service areas to ensure interventions remain responsive, focused on reducing harm, non‑judgemental and aligned with best practice. • Build and maintain strong partnerships with housing providers, local authorities housing teams, Adult Social Care, homelessness services, pharmacies and other key stakeholders to strengthen collaborative working and improve outcomes Working for our organisation Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Inclusion service offers psychological and drug & alcohol services, in the community, and in prisons, and has contracts across the country. Please note, we may be required to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the Job Description for full details; a summary is below: • Take responsibility for the day to day running of harm reduction, housing support and rough sleeping service areas, including activity planning and staff coordination. • Provide leadership, supervision and development support to the services delivering harm reduction, peer mentoring and housing related interventions. • Ensure the provision of high quality, effective and person centred support, including BBV testing, naloxone provision, needle and syringe programmes, overdose prevention, pharmacy engagement, and housing or homelessness prevention pathways. • Undertake HR responsibilities such as attendance management, performance improvement planning, appraisals and overseeing recruitment and induction processes. • Support services to achieve commissioner set targets, using data and reporting to guide improvements and maintain performance standards. • Promote and embed meaningful service user involvement across harm reduction and housing pathways. • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies including housing organisations, local authorities, health partners and voluntary sector services to ensure seamless pathways of care and support. • Contribute to county wide governance, management and quality improvement structures Please read the Person Specification below carefully before applying.
