Our ‘Recovery First’ model ensures that lived experience is at the heart of everything we do. By joining us, you’ll be part of a highly integrated and localized service that addresses multiple issues across all parts of Lincolnshire.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will:
* Conduct opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions.
* Manage benzodiazepine reductions and alcohol/opiate detoxifications.
* Provide relapse prevention medications and health care assessments.
* Administer detoxification medication and pabrinex.
* Complete alcohol and opiate detoxification assessments.
* Offer Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations.
* Collaborate closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.
You will also:
* Participate in local prescribers meetings and one-on-one clinical supervision.
* Engage in national prescriber/clinician meetings for continuous professional development.
* Receive full training and support from our Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Lead.
* Have the opportunity to shape service delivery and contribute to clinically excellent services.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or be a qualified Pharmacist with independent prescriber status.
* Be confident in managing all aspects of prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications.
* Possess excellent communication skills and be highly organized.
* Have the ability to create flexible and tailored support packages.
* Be empathetic, patient, and genuinely interested in helping individuals from diverse backgrounds.
