Languages We’re Seeking
We welcome applications from teachers with experience in teaching one or more of the following languages:
* French
* Spanish
* German
* Italian
* Mandarin Chinese
* Arabic
* Portuguese
* Urdu
* Punjabi
The Role
* Teach your specialist language(s) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4; KS5 (A‑Level) experience is a strong advantage
* Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition, communication, grammar, and cultural awareness
* Use a range of teaching strategies and technology to support speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
* Monitor progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student success
* Participate in curriculum development, department meetings, and where applicable, parent consultations
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
* A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or relevant subject
* Experience teaching languages in a UK secondary school environment
* Strong behaviour management and classroom control
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to inclusive education and diverse learning styles
* Knowledge of national curriculum and current MFL exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, etc.)
