Helpdesk Operators to work as part of the 8888 Helpdesk covering Hard & Soft FM services at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Take calls, log jobs, and handle enquiries as part of a team.
* Deliver a 24‑hour post covering days, nights and weekends; be willing to work all shift patterns.
* Use the CAFM system to enter call details, assign task numbers and record priorities.
* Maintain accurate records on CAFM, documenting a clear timeline for each task.
* Review logged calls to monitor completion times and provide feedback to callers.
* Follow unit logging procedures and serve as the focal point for all calls.
* Pass instructions to staff and record resulting actions in response to call requests.
* Update CAFM with service and fault reports received from contractors.
Requirements
* Willingness and ability to work a 24‑hour shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
* Proficiency in using CAFM or similar computer-aided facilities management systems.
* Good communication skills, customer‑focused attitude, and the ability to multi‑task with headphones.
