Vacancies: 2 Positions Available,1 x 28 hours per week (Monday to Friday - Term Time Only, 39 working weeks) &1 x 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday - Term Time Only, 36 working weeks)
Salary:£12.21 per hour -£14,936.40 (28hours/39 weeks) and£14,772.15 (30hours/36 weeks)

Are you looking for a rewarding catering role with regular hours and real impact? We are currently seeking two reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our team at Brine Leas School. These are permanent, term-time only roles, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a vibrant and supportive school environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing and serving hot and cold food and drinks
* Supporting with food preparation, including sandwiches and cold dishes
* Providing friendly and efficient front-of-house service
* Operating tills and handling payments
* Restocking and rotating stock
* Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and general housekeeping
* We provide full training, both on the job and through our comprehensive e-learning platform. You'll be part of a flexible, multi-skilled team where your contribution is valued.
What You'll Need:
* Must be 18 or over
* Experience working with or around inmates is an advantage
* Comfortable supervising or working alongside inmates in a correctional catering setting
* Ability to obtain and maintain food safety certification
* Ability to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail
* Must qualify for and maintain security clearance for working in a custodial environment
* Physical capability to carry out duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
* Willingness to wear a uniform and use appropriate PPE
