Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician / Shift Technician
Location: Market Drayton – Butter Plant
Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 7am–7pm)
Salary: £54,000 per annum
Due to an exciting internal promotion into a Maintenance Excellence Manager role, we’re now looking for two Multi-Skilled Engineering Technicians to join our high-performing team at the Market Drayton Butter Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Engineering Technicians or Shift Technicians to step into a role where they can make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.

What we’re looking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician:
11. Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
12. Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Shift Technician in a fast-moving manufacturing or logistics setting
13. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent)
14. Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plus
15. Solid background in maintenance and reliability engineering
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Technician role:
16. Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the site
17. Rapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to service
18. Identify root causes and implement cost-effective solutions
19. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activities
20. Work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
21. Apply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolution
Please note: This is a Shift Technician role working a 4 on 4 off pattern, alternating between days and nights.
