The Role We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Reservations & Events Assistant to join our growing team. This role is central to ensuring every guest interaction, from the first enquiry to the final farewell, reflects the warmth and precision of Lilibets hospitality.
You will support the Reception & Reservationsteam in handling daily bookings, managing guest communications, and assisting with the coordination of private events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a natural flair for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms (SevenRooms). Maintain accurate guest profiles, ensuring all preferences, notes, and VIP details are recorded and communicated to the wider team. Assist in preparing event proposals, contracts, and function sheets for private dining and group bookings. Support with pre-event communication: deposits, menu selections, dietary requirements, and final confirmations. Provide on-the-day support for events, ensuring smooth coordination with FOH, kitchen, and bar teams. Uphold and communicate Lilibets policies on cancellations, deposits, and minimum spends. Contribute to guest experience feedback loops, helping refine service and operational standards. Support the Reception & Reservations Manager with reporting, database management, and outreach initiatives.
Skills & Attributes
Previous experience in a reservations, events, or guest relations role within a luxury hospitality environment is preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional, polished, and confident in liaising with high-profile guests and corporate clients. Proficiency in reservation systems (experience with SevenRooms an advantage) and Microsoft Office/Sharepoint A collaborative spirit and passion for delivering warm, memorable hospitality.
