Children and Families Team Manager
* Annual Salary: £52,413 - £54,495
* Location: Tewkesbury and Forest of Dean
* Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
* Open to job share or part-time hours
We are currently seeking a dedicated Children and Families Team Manager to join our teams in Tewkesbury and Forest of Dean. This role is crucial in leading and supporting a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead and support a team of social workers in delivering services that meet statutory duties and best practices.
* Develop a team plan aligned with Children’s Services strategic objectives.
* Provide management oversight on all cases, ensuring a clear understanding of risk.
* Manage the team’s workflow and quality assure work through observations, reflective supervision, and our quality assurance framework.
* Build positive relationships with colleagues within the service and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support and protection for vulnerable children and young people across the County.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Social Work England/Wales registration.
* Recognised qualification in Social Work.
* Completion of ASYE year (if qualified after 2012).
* Full driving licence and willingness to drive.
* DBS clearance.
