We are looking to recruit a Youth Justice Officer in the Youth Justice Team within Islington. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their youth justice staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Youth Justice Officer includes:
Prepare high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (PSR), Referral Order and Breach Reports for court
Undertake detailed assessments using AssetPlus to inform intervention and risk management plans
Deliver structured and sequenced interventions to reduce reoffending and manage risk of harm
Monitor and manage risk and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action and escalation
Work in close partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to achieve positive outcomes
Support young people to access education, training, and employment opportunities
Contribute to team meetings, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting in line with statutory requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Eligibility to work in the UK
Previous Youth Justice experience
Preferably a Qualified Social Worker or Probation Officer
