Job Purpose
To assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for designated process areas.
Key Accountabilities
1. Post journals and accruals into the JDE / SAP system based on discussions with senior site and financial management after proper authorisation from management.
2. Liaise with site and other management to address queries within the monthly accounts and weekly reports.
3. Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions between systems.
4. Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
5. Support the quarterly reforecast and annual budget process where appropriate.
6. Perform other tasks reasonably required by the Finance Department.
7. Identify and resolve issues with assistance, applying sound judgement.
8. Build relationships with the business and support co-workers.
Finance Competence
* Experience working in an accounting environment.
* Knowledge of double-entry accounting.
* Good Excel skills; SAP / JDE knowledge is advantageous.
