Position Overview
Marine Project Engineer – Reactive Works team based in Dawlish.
* Support the delivery and management of reactive civil and marine engineering projects.
* Coordinate project information between office and site teams.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
* Assist in resolving technical and design issues during project delivery.
* Produce sketches, drawings and engineering calculations where required.
* Support planning, sequencing and procurement activities.
* Attend site to carry out surveys, inspections and progress reviews.
* Assist with setting out, quality checks and verification of completed works.
* Support preparation of project documentation, RAMS and progress reports.
* Monitor project costs, resource usage and project risks.
* Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance.
Position Requirements
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Previous experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or marine construction.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Commercial awareness and problem‑solving ability.
* Proactive and team‑focused approach.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Desirable: experience working on marine or coastal engineering projects.
* Desirable: knowledge of reactive or maintenance‑based project delivery.
* Desirable: working towards ICE Chartership or equivalent professional accreditation.
