About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you’ll provide professional advice across a wide range of HR matters including:
* Complex casework and policy guidance
* Reward and recognition
* Organisational change
You’ll build strong relationships with managers, helping them navigate challenges and deliver people solutions that add real value.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 5 Intermediate CIPD or equivalent experience (Associate)
* Good knowledge and understanding of employment law and its application with significant experience of HR case work
* Ability to coach, support and advise line managers to perform their roles competently and achieve successful outcomes
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to produce and share information to help develop solutions or solve problems to mitigate risk.
* Excellent level of interpersonal skills, able to maintain discretion and communicate professionally and tactfully
* Excellent time management and planning and organisation skills
* Able to implement changes in service provision and contribute ideas and innovative solutions to improve service delivery
* Ability to travel as required to locations within Norfolk and Suffolk
Desirable
* Knowledge of the broader activities of the Police Service and working with Trade Unions
