An exciting opportunity has arisen in Leicestershire (County) to join the Healthy Together Team as a Health Visitor. The vacancy is in North Charnwood, covering the Loughborough and Shepshed localities and surrounding villages. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and qualified Health Visitor to help deliver the Healthy Child Programme and our ambitious vision.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver evidence‑based healthcare, maintaining a high standard of professional practice.
* Lead and deliver the Healthy Child Programme within a multi‑agency team setting.
* Identify, assess and manage health care needs of individuals, families, groups and communities, and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care within targeted groups.
* Provide delegated management responsibility to Healthy Child Programme practitioners and nurses.
* Mentor pre‑ and post‑registration students and new staff, and support induction programmes.
* Use your own car for this role; candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and comply with the LPT car schemes.
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration in any branch of nursing.
* Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Health Visitor registration.
* Full UK driving licence and availability to use a personal vehicle for duties.
