Senior Software Engineer – Web & Mobile Applications
Are you a software engineer with experience building mobile and cloud-connected applications? Would you like to work on technology that directly supports veterinary professionals and animal health worldwide?
IMV Imaging, part of the IMV Technologies Group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialising in Web & Mobile Applications to join its R&D Software Engineering team.
In this role you will help design and develop next-generation applications that connect veterinary imaging devices with mobile platforms and cloud systems, contributing to innovative digital solutions used by veterinary professionals globally.

The Role
As part of the R&D Software Engineering team, you will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of mobile, web and cloud-based applications.
You will collaborate with international R&D teams to develop software solutions that support IMV Imaging products and other veterinary technologies across the wider IMV Technologies Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mobile, web and cloud-connected applications
* Contribute to software architecture and system design
* Develop mobile applications (iOS, Android) and web services
* Build and maintain APIs and cloud-based microservices
* Support device connectivity via WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and IoT protocols
* Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices
* Produce technical documentation and contribute to testing and validation
* Collaborate with R&D teams and support production and service teams when required
About You
You will likely have:
* A degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field
* Around 5+ years’ experience in web or mobile software development
* Experience with mobile frameworks such as Flutter or similar technologies
* Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
Experience with medical devices, imaging systems or regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
