Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste / Recycling Operative to join their team.
Additional Information
* There are two working sites, and the client will confirm which location you will be based at prior to your shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Sort and separate recyclable and non-recyclable materials
* Identify and remove contaminated or hazardous waste
* Assist with loading and unloading materials
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
* Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE provided
* Work efficiently to meet daily operational targets
* Support team members and supervisors with general site duties
Requirements
* Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in waste management or recycling is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
* You must be a driver with your own vehicle
