This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join the future development of a Special Needs Primary school and secondary school working with Affinity Workforce based in BS16.
Affinity Workforce Solutions are seeking to appoint a keen and committed Teaching assistant/learning support assistant to support our students, including individuals and groups, both academically and socially.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils' learning and wellbeing, working closely with Teachers and SNECO to help children reach their full potential.
* Work with and support students across the Primary and Secondary curriculum (KS1–KS4).
* Assist with learning activities, both in small groups and 1:1, across a range of additional needs including Autism and Speech and Language difficulties.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Sound understanding of Primary/Secondary Education.
* Confident in supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 curriculum.
* Experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
* A team player who can also use initiative and maintain a good sense of humour.
* Excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
* Positive approach and flexibility to the demands of the job.
