Job Summary\nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our successful established supported accommodation service in Leicestershire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the supported accommodation service to ensure compliance with the Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership to staff teams, manage budgets and resources efficiently, and develop positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in supporting them.\nEssential Requirements:\nThe candidate must meet the Supported Accommodation Regulations’ fitness requirements.\n * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.\n * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.\n * Car Owner and Driver (Business insurance required)\nSkills and Experience:\nAt least two years of relevant experience within the last five years working with vulnerable young people in a supported accommodation service or similar setting.\n * Level 5 Leadership and management Children and young people or working towards.\n * BA (Hons) in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Housing or a related field\n * Proven experience managing a supported accommodation service or similar settings, including managing multiple locations, budgets, and resources effectively and developing financial management strategies that deliver value for money.\n * Strong understanding of Ofsted new Supported Accommodations Regulations and local authority commissioning frameworks.\n * Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing person-centred care and risk management plans for young people.\n * Experience managing staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management, and fostering a team culture of continuous improvement and learning.\n * Proven experience in working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of young people, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures and maintaining accurate records.\n * Experience in working with young people with complex needs, including mental health issues, and in a multi-agency environment is desirable.\n * Experience in service improvement, quality assurance, and driving forward positive change.\n * Strong leadership and staff management skills\n * Regulatory knowledge (Ofsted) and Quality Improvement delivery\n * Ability to conduct effective risk assessments and make informed decisions\n * Proficient in Microsoft package.\nIt is essential to have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle and business insurance for this position – mileage is paid in addition to the hourly rate
