Health & Safety Manager \nNorthamptonshire\nPermanent\n£60,000 plus benefits \n\nWe're seeking a Health & Safety Manager with a solid background in the construction sector to lead on critical aspects of health & safety compliance and risk mitigation across our sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Health & Safety policies in line with current legislation and best practice.\n\nConduct risk assessments, method statements, and ensure compliance across all working environments - with a strong focus on working at heights, confined spaces, and hazardous materials.\n\nManage and monitor the effective use and compliance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) across all operations.\n\nLead site safety audits, incident investigations, and provide practical solutions to reduce risk.\n\nDeliver toolbox talks and training sessions, embedding a culture of continuous safety improvement.\n\nMaintain budget control for H&S initiatives, training, equipment, and compliance-related costs.\n\nLiaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as required.\n\nEnsure compliance with IOSH and HSE standards and guidelines.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nProven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior Advisor role within the construction industry.\n\nStrong knowledge of CDM Regulations, PPE compliance, and working at height regulations.\n\nIOSH membership (TechIOSH or higher preferred). NEBOSH Construction Certificate desirable.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing health & safety budgets.\n\nExcellent communication and leadership skills - able to influence across all levels.\n\nProactive, detail-oriented, and confident in fast-paced construction environments
