An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Assistant Engineering Group Leader to join a leading organisation at the forefront of engineering innovation. The Role:
In this position, you will support the Engineering Group Leader by overseeing a small Design & Analysis team. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects-on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves overseeing product development, qualification, and support throughout the product life cycle, with a particular focus on landing gear systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a small team of engineers to meet project milestones and technical deliverables
* Manage design and analysis tasks for complex mechanical systems
* Drive quality, cost, and delivery targets in line with programme expectations
* Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution
* Provide technical direction and support to ensure ongoing team development

* Experience in planning and estimation of engineering activities
