The role will involve:
* dispensing and labeling of medication and NOMADS
* Creating MAR charts for care home patients
* Stock management, ordering stock, completing owings.
* selling over the counter medications
* requesting medication from local GP surgeries,
* Dealing with prescription queries over the phone
* Overseeing and managing the operations within the dispensary including delegating tasks to other staff members.
* Organising and filing repeat prescriptions for patients.
More advanced responsibilities include assisting the pharmacist in NHS services, flu and Covid vaccinations. Further management opportunities will be available for the right candidate.
