Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students
Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support
Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of Computer Science curriculum and teaching techniques
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching Computer Science is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in IT and educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience with assessment and examination processes
Working Conditions:
Full-time position
Typical school hours with additional time for lesson planning and assessment
Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
