What's involved with this role: Job Title: PMO Project Officer Ref: WECA 5271046 Pay rate: Up to £19.18 per hour PAYE depending on experience The role: Our client is seeking to engage a PMO Project Officer, on an interim basis, to join a team helping to shape the future of a regeneration area and to create a place people want to live, work and spend time. Reporting into the Head of the PMO, the Project Officer will specialise in supporting the Projects. You will have worked in a project environment and have an interest in developing a career in project management. Key responsibilities: Update and amend the Portfolio plan, as required Provide support for key decisions meetings, working alongside Project Managers to ensure project controls are in place Organise workshops, project meetings and assist with collating information Ensure approvals are obtained for key deliverables Support the PMO Project Manager in the completion of the Grant Funding Agreement Monitoring Report on a quarterly basis Support Project Managers and Project teams to effectively establish, plan, manage, deliver and control change programmes and projects in line with the project framework Support the PMO Project Manager to develop, implement and maintain programme and project management structures and tools to enable effective management and delivery of change programmes and projects across the Regeneration programme Prepare project reports including status reports, risks, assumptions, issues and decision (RAID) logs and project dashboards, tracking and analysis of spend and budgetary information across the full project portfolio Be accountable for the records management processes and set up of projects and Programmes, ensuring compliant with information and data requirements Support the PMO Project Manager in maintaining the SharePoint site ensuring it is kept up to date Support the Governance Manager with the forward decision plan process, ensuring it is kept up to date and any items are placed on the relevant meeting agenda Liaise with HR Manager to support the onboarding of new starters What the client is looking for: Good standard of general education and have relevant practical experience in a project management environment Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Power BI and Microsoft Project entry and reporting Experience of providing project support for a wide range of projects and programmes Excellent information management skills Experience of developing documents and presentations in a range of styles and formats Experience of meeting support including minute taking and action logs Good numerical, written and oral communications skills Ability to create reports and presentations to a high standard with strong attention to detail How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
