Office location - Leeds (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Hiring range: starting at £28,000
We are looking for a Schedule Executive to join our team based in Leeds. The main purpose of this role is to ensure an optimal and accurate schedule is produced and delivered to transmission and streaming platforms - incorporating the programme strategy, breaks and sponsorship and marketing elements as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be part of a team looking after linear or VOD schedules from planning stage through to TX/Go live and beyond.
This could include:
1. Working closely with teams across the business to ensure all strategies and priorities are understood and accounted for
2. Building and/or creating optimised schedules at the appropriate time and according to guidelines
3. Managing linear and catch up schedules within and following the press process and ensuring all deadlines are met
4. Entering programme schedules and changes
5. Preparation of advanced information regarding live/ late programming
6. Provide operational solutions to strategic requests
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
7. Office-based work experience is essential, experience as a job share would be advantageous
8. Accuracy is key in this role, you must be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent levels of attention to detail.
9. Must have experience using a range of software including email, excel and word as a minimum
10. Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm and approachable is essential
11. Computer literate and keen to use new technology, must have experience using a range of software including email, excel and word as a minimum
12. Excellent organisational skills
13. Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels
14. Demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines
15. Minimum grade 4/5 in GCSE English and Maths. Additional qualifications in broadcast related discipline preferred
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
16. Experience in a post production / broadcast environment is advantageous
17. A genuine interest in content and broadcasting is advantageous.
18. Able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm and approachable
19. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to pre-empt and proactively resolve problems
20. Resilience and able to adapt to changeable situations whilst remaining positive
21. Enthusiasm. Someone who is motivated, proactive, and a team player with a positive attitude.
22. Good communication skills at all levels
