To support our rapid growth, we’re looking for a high‑impact, hard‑selling Recruiter who thrives in competitive talent markets and knows how to engage, influence, and close top engineering and site‑based talent.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner for Site, Construction and Commissioning roles, you'll play a key role in our recruitment efforts across our businesses within EMEA. You'll have the freedom to structure your days and have the support of a fantastic team. This role will support EMEA and therefore location is flexible. Visa support and/or relocation support will not be provided. Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Swedish) would be beneficial.
How you’ll make an impact
1. Fill critical C&C roles fast: Own end‑to‑end hiring for construction, installation, and commissioning talent across EMEA—driving proactive search, outreach, and conversion of passive candidates for Site/Field based roles such as Commissioning Engineers, Site/Construction Managers, HSE‑savvy field specialists, and other site based roles.
2. Sell the opportunity with conviction: Lead high‑energy, consultative conversations that clearly articulate Hitachi Energy’s mission, project impact, and career growth—overcoming objections, managing offer negotiations, and closing top technical talent in competitive markets.
3. Be the market maker: Build and continuously refresh actionable talent maps and pipelines by location, skill cluster, and mobilization readiness; surface real‑time intel on rates, availability, and competitor activity to shape hiring strategy.
4. Raise the hiring bar: Coach and influence Hiring Managers and HRBPs with data‑backed recommendations on profiles, assessment, and process design; align demand with market reality and ensure crisp, decision‑oriented hiring forums.
5. Run a tight, high‑velocity process: Orchestrate structured sourcing sprints, keep slates warm, and move candidates from first touch to offer with urgency—while maintaining excellent candidate experience and rigorous compliance.
6. Strengthen our employer brand at source: Tailor go‑to‑market messaging for site‑based communities (events, associations, referrals, guilds) and convert brand interest into qualified pipelines, especially for hard‑to‑hire geographies.
7. Create repeatable wins: Capture what works (messaging, channels, profiles, interview rubrics) and codify playbooks for the broader TA team supporting Construction & Commissioning.
Your background
8. Proven closer in technical recruitment: Demonstrable results headhunting and closing passive candidates in construction, commissioning, field service, EPC, or industrial engineering environments (agency, in‑house, or RPO).
9. Hard‑selling, consultative style: Skilled at objection handling, offer strategy, and stakeholder influencing; you’re comfortable challenging assumptions and guiding decisions with market data.
10. EMEA talent fluency: Experience running multi‑country searches, navigating mobilization considerations (travel, rotations, sites), and adapting to local market nuances; additional European languages are a plus.
11. Pipeline and insight led: Hands‑on with talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and funnel analytics (e.g., time‑to‑slate, pass‑through rates, source effectiveness)—and you use them to accelerate outcomes.
12. Process excellence: Strong command of structured interviewing, assessment design for hands‑on site roles, and ATS/Workday best practices; meticulous with documentation and compliance.
13. Action oriented & resilient: Thrives in fast‑moving project environments with shifting priorities; balances high requisition loads without compromising quality or candidate experience.
14. Purpose‑driven: Genuine interest in the energy transition and in hiring the people who make complex infrastructure safe, reliable, and sustainable.
