Join our Senior Leadership Team
Due to internal promotion, we are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Deputy Head of College to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader ready to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and growing specalist college environment.
As Deputy Head of College, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head in delivering outstanding educational outcomes, safeguarding excellence, and operational leadership across the college. You will be expected to lead and run the college independently for one day per week, taking full responsibility for daily operations, decision-making, and staff leadership during this time.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing strategic leadership across teaching, learning and curriculum development
2. Leading on quality assurance, performance management and staff development
3. Supporting safeguarding, behaviour, and student wellbeing frameworks
4. Contributing to Ofsted readiness and regulatory compliance
5. Deputising fully for the Head as required
6. Driving a culture of high expectations, inclusion and continuous improvement

7. Have substantial leadership experience within an educational setting
8. Demonstrate the ability to lead confidently and decisively
9. Be passionate about improving outcomes for learners
10. Have strong safeguarding knowledge and operational competence
11. Be confident managing staff teams and holding others to account
