About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough. This is a full-time, temporary position running from 13th April through to the end of the academic year (17th July).
This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can confidently lead a Year 6 class, support pupils in preparation for SATs, and create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Prepare pupils for Year 6 SATs assessments
*
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
*
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
*
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers
*
Maintain strong behaviour management strategies
Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6
*
Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
*
Excellent classroom management skills
*
A proactive and adaptable approach
