AMU Ambulatory Care is seeking compassionate and caring Registered Nurses to join their bright and friendly team.

This acute medical short stay unit offers comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions who can be treated and discharged within 24 to 72 hours.
Our goal is to foster a supportive environment that promotes person-centered care, enabling patients to achieve their optimal level of health and independence. We treat a wide range of acute medical conditions across various specialties, including respiratory, cardiac, and neurological issues, as well as other conditions requiring careful observation, intravenous drugs, or skilled assessment.

The Unit:
AMU Ambulatory Care is a dynamic and friendly team that values teamwork and support. We have two units where the post holder may work: Same Day Emergency Care and Acute Medical Receiving Unit.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care programs for each patient within your responsibility.
2. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
3. Acting as team leader, including taking charge of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager/Deputy Ward Manager.
4. Participating in all relevant governance processes.
5. Adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and hospital policies and procedures.
6. Acting as a positive role model at all times.
