Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, including bank holidays.You must be a driver as you would be caring for residents in their own home. Supporting individuals and filling their days with positive and energetic attitude whilst maintaining high level of dignity and respect is an essential part of the role. Each individual has different daily routines-Once you arrive to the clients home you will have a tailored care plan including what needs to be done during your visit. Some of the main duties include assisting with meals, assisting with medications, personal care, providing companionship. A full induction will be carried out prior to your first shift. Driving is desirable as you will be driving from one home to another. Consistency Required. Suitable candidates for this position would ideally have experience working as a support worker, carer, health care assistant, dementia.
