Assistant Events Operations Manager - High End Event Catering - based in Camden - Up To £40k. Mon - Fri / No Nights.
Boutique Events Co that specialises in catering for 'on location' events in the fashion, film & TV industries is looking for someone to assist in the running of the business. This is essentially an organising role - you do not need to be out on location. You will be planning & organising every detail for each event liaising with clients, suppliers & the internal chef teams to make sure that things run smoothly. Menus are approx. £40 – £90 per head so this is very much at the premium end of the event catering market - think 5* star hotel standard food - but served out on location.
This is a hugely exciting, ever changing environment where no two days are the same. Lots of moving parts with multiple clients being catered for every day. It's a high pressure role but will be incredibly satisfying/rewarding.
Its Mon - Fri - office hours typically 9am - 5pm but they could also accommodate 7am - 3pm if you prefer.
You must have a background in Event Management & have first class attention to detail skills, a passion for great quality food & service & very obvious professional pride in what you do.
A background in Events / Event Management is a pre-requisite - be that with an events company or a business that caters for events - ie a Hotel or restaurant with an Events stream. A positive attitude & a natural sunny disposition would be a distinct advantage.
