Location: Hybrid - 1 day/week onsite in Corsham
Security Clearance: Active SC required (DV beneficial)
Rate: £450/per day Outside IR35
Length: Till June 2026 + 6 month extension
Fortice are seeking an SC Cleared Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join a boutique consultancy to support a digital strategy for a defence client.
What You'll Do:
* Manage and enhance the Kubernetes offering
* Automate cloud deployments in a secure, multi-tenant environment
* Develop infrastructure-focused DevOps tooling
* Create and maintain operating procedures, knowledge articles, and system documentation
* Contribute to ongoing design and service improvements
Essential Skills:
1. Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu (IaaS Control Plane, VKS), Aria Automation & Orchestrator
2. Strong Linux (Ubuntu preferred) and Windows OS skills
3. Familiarity with ITIL service management and security hardening (eg, CIS benchmarks)
4. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (eg, Nessus)
