Operational ai solutions architect

Attest
Solution architect

Offer description

The Opportunity

Please note that this role sits sits in our Central Team, where your focus will be using AI to improve how we operate as a business. Rather than developing AI within the product, you'll apply AI tools to streamline processes, optimise workflows, and enhance our internal ways of working.

Attest is moving fast toward becoming an AI-native company. To get there, we need an Operational AI Solutions Architect who can build the foundations, the workflows, the playbooks, the training and the mindset that help every team use AI confidently and effectively to improve operational workflows.

Although Attest launched AI fluency work in 2025, this isn't about inheriting a mature program. We are looking for someone who will shape the way AI shows up in our processes, our day-to-day decision making and our culture. The ideal candidate will also work closely with our Technology team in defining the technical tools and frameworks that will be used for operational AI throughout the organisation.

If you thrive in ambiguity, like connecting dots across disciplines, and enjoy turning potential into practice, this is the opportunity for you.

The Logistics

The salary range for this role is £100,000 to £115,000.

We embrace a flexible hybrid work model. While we don't mandate specific office days, we ask full-time Attesters to work on-site 2 or 3 days per week. This approach allows us to collaborate in person, while ensuring enough time remotely for deep, focussed work.

What You'll Do

As an Operational AI Solutions Architect you will

Partner with teams across the business to map their current workflows end-to-end, surfacing friction points, manual loops, and hidden inefficiencies.
Proactively identify and prioritise key opportunities, shaping ideas into delivery-ready plans and partnering with multiple stakeholders to work within the Attest standards to drive alignment and execution.
Use tools such as n8n, Glean, Airia, Langflow, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Workspace Studio, Zapier, Retool.
Identify AI opportunities that deliver meaningful leverage, from automation to insight generation to new ways of working.
Translate findings into repeatable, scalable workflows, reducing one-off experimentation and helping teams adopt AI with confidence.
Work with our Information Security team to ensure that our use of AI is compatible with the Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability and Safety of our critical information assets and that of our customers.
Partner with teams across Attest, such as Revenue Operations and Engineering, to ensure that we work towards Attest standards and that best practice is shared and replicated across departments.
Build AI-powered tools, agents, prompts, and prototypes that teams can use immediately, moving beyond theory into practical, hands-on solutions.
Translate use cases into working AI artefacts (templates, scripts, agents, dashboards) that can be tested, iterated, and scaled across the company.
Advise senior leaders on strategic priorities, capability gaps, and org design implications of becoming AI-native.
Bring external insight to keep Attest ahead of the market and build a shared view of where AI creates the most value today, and where we should invest next.
Build rituals, comms, and learning experiences that make AI accessible, exciting, and part of our company culture where AI is part of how we think and work, not an add-on.

What You Will Bring

Experience in creating clarity through strong documentation practices, ensuring internal wikis support alignment, autonomy, and effective collaboration for operational AI or workflow optimisation.
Experience mapping and building workflows, spotting and building workflow automation or augmentation opportunities.
Experience mapping and then building operational AI programmes or functions from scratch, digital transformation, enablement, or workflow redesign and getting buy in from teams.
Track record of designing and delivering production-grade operational agentic AI workflows, leveraging agentic platforms and custom MCP-based automations to drive measurable efficiency gains.
Designed and deployed end-to-end operational AI workflows that automate complex business processes, using LLM prompt chaining, orchestration tools, and API integrations across internal systems (ATS, HRIS, Slack, Google Workspace).
Built robust guardrails, data validation steps, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms while maintaining scalable, testable prompt architectures and lightweight Python/JS tooling.
Comfort working at pace, iterating, and learning in motion, in circumstances that are ambiguous and ever changing.
Worked with internal compliance, security and technology teams to work out how to guard against AI security threats such as prompt injection, hallucinations, data leakage and AI misuse.
Demonstrated strong communication and storytelling ability, translating complex operational AI concepts into clear narratives that influence stakeholders at all levels, regardless of their technical fluency.
