Position: Lecturer in Medical Education (Consultation Skills)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lecturer to join Norwich Medical School. You will be involved in leadership, coordination, management, and delivery of clinical communication skills teaching for undergraduate medicine. You will play a key role within our Consultation Skills team, shaping and delivering the new Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) Consultation Skills curriculum and contributing to our 5-year MB BS Medicine degree. The role includes teaching duties, assessments, supervising student research projects, and acting as a Personal Adviser.
Teaching responsibilities include planning, delivering, and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate modules, developing teaching materials, supervising dissertations, and promoting engagement at UEA.
Requirements include a first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and assessment, and supervision experience at postgraduate level. Experience in enterprise and engagement activities is advantageous.
This part-time (0.6 FTE) position is available from 1 October 2025 on an indefinite basis.
