About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods throughout the business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 1015 employees, driving operational performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and championing health and safety standards.
You will play a key role in creating a positive working environment, developing team capability, and delivering operational excellence across Goods In, Storage, Inventory Management and Despatch functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
2. Monitor daily warehouse performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and report results to the Operations Manager.
3. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
4. Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained within SAP and investigate stock discrepancies through root cause analysis.
5. Manage stock counting processes, including annual stock audits and cycle counting programmes.
