Passionate about our cause – believes in improving awareness, support, and care for people with endometriosis and related conditions. Experience in fundraising, event planning, or community engagement. What will you be doing?
We are looking for a proactive and creative volunteer to join Endometriosis South Coast as our Fundraising and Events Manager. In this role, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and delivering events and fundraising activities that generate vital income and increase awareness of our work. You will work closely with our founder, trustees, and a dedicated team of volunteers to Plan and deliver fundraising events, such as community activities, awareness days, charity challenges, or online campaigns. Coordinate logistics, from booking venues and organising schedules to liaising with suppliers and volunteers. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to reach agreed income targets. Build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and local businesses. Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including sponsorships, partnerships, and grant funding linked to events. The key deliverable for this role is to successfully organise events and initiatives that raise both funds and awareness for our cause. This means delivering activities that are financially successful, align with our mission, and create a positive experience for participants and supporters. While we have a bank of ideas and past event templates, there is scope for you to bring your own creativity and shape the role to suit your strengths and interests. You may choose to focus on one large annual event, a series of smaller community activities, or a combination of both. You will have the full support of our leadership team and volunteers, along with access to our networks, promotional channels, and resources. We encourage collaboration and welcome new ideas that help us engage the community and build sustainable income to support people living with endometriosis and related conditions.
