Trainee Cable Harness Technician

Monday to Thursday – 8.00am - 4.30pm and 1.00pm finish on Fridays
Temporary to Permanent
£12.21 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Cable Harness Technician to join our client based in Swindon.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the assembly of cable harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires
* Learning to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
* Supporting testing and quality checks on completed assemblies
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high quality standards
* Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
The ideal candidate will:
* Have good attention to detail and manual dexterity
* Be reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
* Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Have an interest in electronics, engineering, or manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to read, understand, and follow written processes, work instructions, and job documentation
* Excellent communication skills
