About the Role
As a Public Procurement Buyer, you'll lead and develop assigned business areas to increase spend under management and deliver best-in-class procurement services. You'll manage end-to-end procurement activities, implement supplier and member contracts, and apply category-level expertise to drive continuous improvement and commercial success.
You'll play a pivotal role in building strategic relationships, delivering value to the members, and supporting the growth of our brand across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of category strategies
* Manage sourcing projects including mini competitions, frameworks, and dynamic markets
* Formalise contract documentation and assist members in defining core requirements
* Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and resolve disputes
* Monitor and maintain commercial and operational performance
* Support marketing and communication plans
* Promote the business corporate values and ESG commitments
* Facilitate knowledge transfer and cross-functional learning
