DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As the Global Logistics Specialist you will ensure that Exclusive Networks UK operates in line with UK and US regulatory controls for exporting dual‑use products and services. you will also be responsible for coordinating and delivering global shipping projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, comply with global regulatory requirements, and achieve optimal financial outcomes.
As the Logistics Specialist, you will:
* Coordinate global shipping projects from quotation to final delivery, ensuring all milestones are tracked and deadlines are met.
* Issue quotations that reflect client expectations, regulatory considerations and optimal financial margins.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless end‑to‑end shipping solutions.
* Monitor and minimise delays through proactive communication and issue escalation when required.
* Ensure full compliance with UK and US export/import controls, including dual‑use regulations, UK Controlled Lists, and US EAR requirements.
* Manage all export licence applications and maintain documentation in line with ECJU requirements.
* Maintain accurate product compliance data including ECCN, HTS codes, weights and dimensions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Logistics Specialist, will have:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in multimodal logistics.
* Strong background in export operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with strong analytical and numerical ability.
* Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, partners and clients.
* Experience with third‑party IOR/DDP shipping, preferable.
* Hands‑on experience shipping dual‑use controlled products from the UK, preferable.
* Understanding of UK Export Control regulations and US EAR requirements, preferable.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Proactive in escalating issues to ensure timely resolution.
* Team‑focused, with a willingness to provide cover and support during peak periods or absences.
* Strong relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external clients.
