Your new role
As Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing year end statutory accounts for a number of small entities, applying UK GAAP.
You'll also be responsible for VAT reporting and some Charity accounting under the charity SORP.
The role offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge of financial controls and balance sheet accounting in a practical setting.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant from practice who is keen to work with an organisation that has a strong bond with the localmunity.
You will have good accounts preparation or audit skills with a good knowledge of UK GAAP and ideally (although not essential) Charity SORP.
