Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join the Norwich City Service Limited (NCSL) team. If you are a qualified electrician, experienced supervisor, and a problem solver, we would love to hear from you.
Norwich City services is a trusted provider of maintenance and repair services across the social housing and commercial area, providing repairs to domestic, commercial, and historical heritage buildings whilst working with our key stakeholders to deliver safe, high quality electrical services.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of electrical maintenance and upgrade projects for domestic properties, ensuring full compliance with safety legislation and quality standards.
* Participate in a high-performing team, promoting collaborative culture, excellence in design, and continuous service improvement.
* Supervise and develop staff; contribute to recruitment, training and performance reviews.
* Support operational and financial targets through effective monitoring and reporting.
* Maintain regulatory accreditation (such as NICEIC) and support energy efficiency initiatives.
* Coordinate health and safety risk assessments and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Uphold confidentiality, promote equality, and cover broader operational duties as needed.
* Commit to the core values of NCSL and its partnership with Norwich City Council.
Qualifications
* Qualified electrical professional with substantial experience supervising domestic electrical works and managing teams to high standards.
* City & Guilds certifications including the 18th Edition and Test & Inspection qualifications (or equivalents).
* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently in challenging environments (at height or in confined spaces).
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and report-writing skills.
* Commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement; well-organised, adaptable, and collaborative.
* Proactive team player and effective communicator capable of interpreting electrical schematics and thriving under pressure.
* Willingness to travel across East Anglia and engage in training opportunities for professional development.

* 23 days annual leave, rising to 24 days after 3 years and 25 days after 5 years, plus 8 bank holidays
This role is for 37 hours per week, but to ensure flexibility and promote an inclusive workplace part-time hours or a job share agreement will be considered.
