Hours: 8:15am:4:30pm Start: ASAP / Next Term
We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team on a full:time, long:term basis.
This role is ideal for a teacher with strong behaviour management skills, experience in SEMH, PRU or alternative provision, and a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

The Role
You will:

Teach KS3:KS4 pupils with SEMH needs
*
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to EHCPs
*
Implement consistent and effective behaviour strategies
*
Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment
*
Work closely with pastoral, therapeutic and leadership teams
*
Support pupils academic progress, emotional regulation and engagement
*
Contribute positively to whole:school culture and routines
This is a Monday:Friday role (8:15am:4:30pm) on a long:term contract until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who has:
*
QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
*
Minimum 6 months experience in a UK secondary school
*
Experience in an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision
*
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
*
The ability to commit full:time for the duration of the contract
