Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team for a 12-month maternity cover.
Details:
* Contract: Fixed Term (12 months), full-time
* Location: London, SW1P 2AF (Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote)
* Salary: £35,000 + £3,954 London Weighting Allowance

Role Description
You will have the opportunity to share our compelling story, raise awareness of our vital work, and inspire action from supporters. You will engage communities and amplify our cause, working closely with the Group Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute externally facing paid marketing plans that align with the charity's objectives. Your responsibilities include campaign strategy and execution, liaising with external agencies, internal stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on campaign performance, and ensuring brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement paid marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Lead marketing plans supporting our brand and fundraising objectives.
* Manage relationships with external agencies for campaign development and execution.
* Oversee campaign lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and provide updates.
* Evaluate campaign effectiveness and report insights for continuous improvement.
* Maintain brand guidelines across all marketing activities.
* Manage and mentor one direct report.
Candidate Profile
We seek a hands-on Marketing Manager with experience in multi-channel paid campaigns, strategic mindset, and excellent project management skills. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, creative, and a proactive communicator, capable of working with external agencies and internal teams to ensure impactful marketing initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional paid media.
* Strong campaign management from strategy to execution within deadlines and budgets.
* Experience working with external agencies.
* Understanding of brand management and marketing consistency.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with teams and partners.
* Ability to analyze campaign performance and apply insights.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
* Marketing qualification (e.g., CIM or equivalent).
* Experience in the not-for-profit or charity sector.
* Knowledge of fundraising marketing and campaign alignment with fundraising goals.
