Business Analyst - MiFID II Product Governance - Enhancements for Markets Project (Program Execution and Transformation)
Role Description
Senior Business Analyst working in the Program Execution & Transformation team on the MiFID II Product Governance - Enhance for Markets Project.
The Markets Program Execution & Transformation is required to implement a MiFID II Product Governance - Enhancements for Markets Project.
The implementation will be focussed on enhancing the existing implementation for MiFID II Product Governance. The role will require delivering changes to policies and procedures, system changes, controls, reporting and governance throughout the products lifecycle.
Responsibilities for the Business Analysis:
-Understanding of the regulatory requirement and gathering business / legal and compliance requirements
-Gap analysis to identify current state solution against the required enhancements.
-Propose solution options
-Document changes to or define new governance and reporting.
-Enhance BAU process and controls.
-Document new or changes to existing policies and procedures where applicable.
-Data analysis as required.
-Support the project manager to meet the PMO standards.
-Support project manager with tracking implementation of any deliverables in the plan.
-Support project manager with preparing materials for working groups.
Additional activities may include:
-Support with facilitating UAT where applicable."
Key Skills Required
In priority order:
1. Must have Business Analysis experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Investment Banking as a Business Analyst.
2. Must have experience implementing MiFID II Product Governance.
3. Proven track record of Business Analysis / project delivery within Regulatory framework, from legal interpretation, business impact analysis, solution and handover to BAU.
4. Must have experience working with the Business (Business Managers, Front Office Trading & Sales), Legal and Compliance.
5. Must have effective communication (written, oral) skills including updates to project / programme manager, stakeholders
6. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office (Excel (data analysis), PowerPoint, Visio (process flow))
7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
Key Skills Preferred
"1. Knowledge of FCA Consumer Duty, PRIIPs
2. Business Analysis qualifications or equivalent qualification desirable.
3. Any previous experience navigating the Citi landscape (systems architecture, process)
4. Knowledge of MiFID II Investor Protection (Cost & Charges, Inducements)
