HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be:
* Making palletised goods deliveries to businesses
* Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
* Operating a pump truck and tail lift when required
* Completing HGV vehicle checks
* Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
* Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
* Starting between 16:00 pm - 20:00 pm, completing between 50+ hours per week
Requirements:
* Category C+E licence entitlement
* A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
* Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
Pay Rates (PAYE):
£18.50 - £19.77 per hour (Monday to Friday)
Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent
