Puro Associates are supporting an accountancy practice in Cheadle Hulme in their search for a full-time, permanent Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly, well-established team of professionals.
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will work with a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services and financial guidance.
Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant:
* Preparing annual accounts
* Preparing tax computations
* Preparing annual VAT returns
* Providing financial advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
* Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
* Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth
Requirements for the Semi Senior Accountant:
* Ideally at least 2+ years’ experience within a UK accountancy firm
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
* Friendly disposition and a team player
* Effective communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels
