The work we do together matters.\n\nAbout the role…\n\nDue to recent major project awards Avove are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager, with water experience, to join their team. You will be managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects through the design/build/commissioning phases, maintaining programme and budget.\n\nResponsible for the health and safety compliance of the project activities being undertaken on site during the project life cycle.
Managing project activities in line with the programme.\n\nThe role will involve delivery of Non-infra projects within the Water Treatment Industry with variable degrees of Civils& MEICA works involved.\n\nYou will work on projects through the UK on major water Utility companies including Southwest Water, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities and, possibly, Scottish Water. A split of both clean water and sewage treatment across both non-infra and interfacing with partnering infra projects.\n\nWhat will your day look like…\n\nThe management of client relationships and a portfolio of projects delivered on a regional basis.\nThe management of a multidisciplinary projects delivery team to deliver a portfolio of projects.\nResponsible for cost management of the projects and overall programme management.\nResponsible for regional cost forecast and revenue contributions to overall account P&L.\nManagement of subcontractor relationships and establishment of overarching framework agreements to deliver works in region.\nAbout you…\n\nProven Principal Project Management experience, on non-infra projects, and knowledge on the following:\n\nNEC3/4 Working knowledge and ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion\nMS Project, understanding and ability to create detailed CL31 programmes based on works information and maintain/update CL32 revisions.\nThe ability to accurately forecast costs across a portfolio of projects and assess project risk.\nHydraulic understanding of water distribution; boosted systems; and pumped dosing system.\nExperience of both waste and clean water treatment would be preferential.\nEUSR – Water Hygiene\nCSCS – Managers Card (Black/Silver or professional Qualification)\nSMSTS – or recognised accepted equivalent (example: IOSH Managing safely)\nWhat’s in it for you…\n\nWe offer a rewarding salary that is tailored to your skills and experience.
